Latest project for NC Wildlife Magazine

I’m in my 4th season of creating illustration work for North Carolina Wildlife Magazine. As illustrators we work several months in advance of when articles are published. This deer illustration is for an article about the behavior of deer in the fall and the ways they spread their scent. They rub their bodies and antlers along tree trunks and branches. I learn so much about various animals from working on artwork for these projects.
