Art is political. As an artist and future social worker, I will always use my art to advocate for others. This sticker design is inspired by my childhood growing up in the town of Salinas, California. Salinas is one of the largest hubs for produce growing in the U.S., with a large and diverse community of migratory agricultural workers. My experiences with our predominantly Hispanic and Filipino communities helped to shape my childhood. My insight gained into their vibrant cultures, at school and within my neighborhood, has left a treasured imprint. Strawberry fields surrounded our neighborhood, and the smells of the landscape are a core memory for me.

We are all immigrants, and $5 from every sticker will be donated to United We Dream, an immigrant youth-led organization that supports and advocates for immigrant rights and beyond.
